Bonneville Gas Tank

Surprisingly our customer didn't want to keep the old seagull gas tank so I picked this original slimline tank up on ebay for a reasonable price. As with all 40+ year old parts there is always some sort of a surprise under the paint!

The tank came with the knee pads and badges, badges will be back, pads won't

Surprise! The right hand side of the tank was pretty good.

The long crease was the worst of this side

No prizes for guessing the worst part here

This stud gun spot welds the studs to the tank allowing them to be pulled. I forgot to take a pick with the studs attached.

There's still a little left to do on the large dent but the shape is back.
